“Photography has always been my passion. I am a curious person. Photography opens doors and leads to new people, places and perspectives. A gift for the open-minded adventurer.
I have always explored the world. Studied photography in Paris and New York. I share my love for photography with my husband. We started our journey in the Big Apple where we lived for many years. Photography allowed me to meet the most interesting humans, discover fascinating places and cultures around the world. Every encounter, every session, every trip enriches my life and sharpens my perception. I lived and worked in London, Paris, New York, Portland, Maine and Frankfurt. Big cities are full of rhythm and challenges. I had the privilege to collaborate and photograph for ten books : From Pastries,Cafes and Garden of Paris to landscape and culinary photography in Brittany and Provence.
All these experiences result in one thing. The joy of taking pictures, every single shot is unique - You capture emotions and aim for the magic moment.
It doesn't matter if its a business portrait, a food photo session or a reportage about a Chef you will always get my full attention and dedication. Trust your instincts I will follow your flow! “
Marie Preaud is based between France and Germany, working for German publishing houses. Specialised in portraits, food and landscapes.
She had published 10 books on the themes of gastronomy and landscapes. Marie Preaud photographs with authenticity, emotion and style.
Her photographic approach to gastronomy is very authentic, using natural light and highlighting food in an aesthetic and appetising way.
She is the recipient of two photography awards :
